Tea Pal Rose Bud Tea
Rose is a flowering shrub of the genus Rosa and there are currently more than a hundred species of wild roses worldwide. Dubbed the "queen of flower" by the Greek poet Sappho, Rose tea has been a common beverage during garden parties in Britain since the days of Queen Victoria.
For the orients, specifically the Chinese, Roses are used to clear "heat" and reduce anxiety and depression. The gentle, exquisite sweetness of its aroma, coupled with its considerable therapeutic value secured the Rose a special place in the medicine and perfumery of Ancient Persian, Egyptian, Indian, Greek, Chinese and Roman civilizations.
