What is Reikii Organic Grape Juice?
Reikii Organic Grape Juice is made from Certified Organic Bio-dynamic Grapes.
A Natural Source Of Quick Energy
Grape Juice is a natural source of quick energy as the natural fruit sugars and minerals are rapidly assimilated into the blood stream. The natural fruit sugar in grape juice helps the body to burn some of its stored fat and at the same time keeps the volume of blood sugar from falling too low. The relatively high levels of fructose and glucose are in a form of readily assimilable invert sugar. It also has other body-building materials, being one of the richer fruit juices in organic iron. It reduces the acidity of the blood, is an excellent blood builder and is useful in all cases of blood disorder, poor circulation, low blood pressure, pimples and skin diseases, liver troubles, nervous exhaustion, rheumatism and arthritis.
Grape juice is non-fattening and can be safely used by those on a weight reducing diet and is also a definite aid in improving the complexion. Grape juice helps to strengthen a weak digestion, will help overcome anemia and is most helpful in disease of the heart and respiratory organs. Grape juice can also be used in place of fresh grapes by those who wish to reap the benefits of a grape fast.
A Valuable Source of Antioxidants
Antioxidants are a naturally occurring plant compound that may function alone or in conjunction with other compounds to promote human health. Research suggests that diets high in naturally occurring antioxidants may help reduce the risk of heart disease and certain cancers. Grape juice contains a compound in the skins and juice called resveratrol, a rich source of antioxidants called proanthocyanidins, which are part of a larger family of plant compounds known as flavonoids. The seeds in grapes are also a rich source of antioxidants. Grape juice generally has three times more antioxidant power than apple, orange, grapefruit, and tomato juices.
Helps Promote Healthy Cardiovascular Functioning
Antioxidants found in grape juice may act to promote healthy cardiovascular functioning and may also act to protect LDL cholesterol (commonly known as bad cholesterol) from free radicals - the unstable compound that can cause healthy cell damage. Research suggests that by minimizing the interaction between free radicals and LDL cholesterol, this helps keep the arteries clear and flexible.
The Ideal First Juice For Infants
Grape juice is much easier to digest than many fruit juices including apple and pear, making it ideal as a first choice fruit juice for infants and toddlers. It does not contain sorbitol (a sugar-like compound that is difficult to digest) where as apple and pear do contain sorbitol. Grape juice is also easier to digest because it has an even balance of glucose and fructose (two easy to digest naturally occurring sugars).
